Kangaroos were our evening guests whilst sipping wine on our verandah
This place is in a beautiful, quiet setting, by the lake. There were a dozen kangaroos on the lawn to entertain us in the evening and a multitude of different birds to watch on the feeders. There are wildlife walks and we spotted a beautiful kingfisher whilst kayaking. I could easily have lived in the cabin. It had so much space and was very well equipped. It is the best place we have stayed in several months of travelling.

Did not want to leave
Facilities are excellent. Everything you need is in the kitchen. The BBQ and pool area is perfect and the boating facilities are excellent (jetty, ramp, fish cleaning table). Gardens are immaculate. Heaps of wildlife. River views are restful.

Beautiful place to stay
The sun did not come out during our two night stay here and it didn't matter at all. We stayed in a lakeside apartment which was very spacious and well equipped, both in a practical way (washing machine, dryer and dishwasher) and with a touch of luxury (double spa bath). From reception hire DVDs for free. The canoes are also free. Sitting on our verandah at 7 am watching the birds on the water is a special memory of our holiday with a wonderful sense of getting away from it all. For couples looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings we can't recommend Lakeside highly enough

Stay for more than a night!
We travelled in a group and when we got there, all of us were speechless. The apartments were absolutely beautiful, furnitured with lots of love. Then we looked out of the window and saw this absolutely stunning view over the lake and the beautiful nature. Also, loads of animals have their home there. Kangaroos, birds, possums etc, so it's also a very nice place for animal spotting. The staff is very friendly and there's even a little shop where you can buy some wine, groceries etc. We wished we could have stayed more than one night

Wonderful Place to relax!
My best friend and I now live in different states, Gipsy Point was half way drive for both of us. It was a wonderful relaxing place to catch up over a glass of wine looking at the beautiful lake. We only stayed one night in a waterfront apartment, and wish we had a bit longer. Facilities were clean, fresh, wonderful. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone. We are already planning our next catch up in a few months at Gipsy, and will be def staying for more than one night!
